PrEP+PAIRED
The PrEP+Paired campaign was conceived as an effort to increase awareness and usage of PrEP in communities throughout New Jersey.
The message of PrEP+Paired is acessible to all populations, but is particularly directed at those that are most vulnerable to HIV infection.
WHERE DID PrEP+PAIRED COME FROM?
The PrEP+Paired campaign was thought up and brought to life by the people at NJCRI’s Project WOW .
WHO ARE THE PEOPLE IN THE PHOTOS?
The models featured in the campaign materials are a mixture of Project WOW members and staff. The cast features a diverse mix of people including trans women of color, black and latino gay and bisexual men, among other mixtures of gender, racial, and sexually oriented and centered identities.
The purpose of using these people is twofold:
1. Represent the people of Newark, NJ, where Project WOW is based.
2. Provide visibility for those whose voices and experiences
are typically underrepresented or not represented at all.
